How to join the beta

It takes one email.

  1. Email us

    Tell us what you make, roughly how many batches you run in a month and where you sell. Start the email

  2. We set you up

    We set up your access and email you when it's ready.

  3. Sign in and make your first batch

    Open batchwell.app, enter your email and type the 6-digit code we send. We'll walk you through your first batch.

Questions

Do I need to be a big operation to use it?

No. Batchwell was built for a two-person business working from home. If you make 4 batches a month or 40, it fits.

What happens if I lose signal in the middle of a batch?

Keep going. Weights, step ticks, temperatures and notes keep saving on your phone and send as soon as you're back online. Batchwell needs a connection to open, so start your batch with signal.

Is there a password to remember?

No. Enter your email and type the 6-digit code we send you.

Does it work with Shopify?

Yes, through Shopify's order export. Download your orders as a CSV and import the file. Batchwell matches each line to your products, skips refunded and cancelled orders, and counts line discounts. Live connections to Shopify and other places you sell are planned.

Does it calculate lye or fragrance amounts?

No. Bring the formula you trust. Batchwell scales it to your batch size, weighs it in and keeps the record.

Does it print product labels?

Not today. Every batch gets a lot code that you put on your own labels.

Can I run more than one brand?

Yes. Each brand gets its own lot code prefix and its own rules. Willow & Watch runs two brands in one workspace.

Can other people use my workspace?

Yes. Invite a partner or helper as an owner, admin, maker or viewer. Each person signs in with their own email.

Is there an iPhone app?

It's on its way to the App Store. Until then, open batchwell.app in Safari and choose Share, then Add to Home Screen. It opens like an app.

Can I get my data out?

Any time. Go to More, then Backup, to download your records as spreadsheets, one per kind of record, or as one full backup file.

What does it cost?

Free during the beta. When paid plans start, beta makers hear first, and nothing is charged until you choose a plan.
