Cancel a batch

Steps

1. Open the batch. You can cancel it only while it’s in progress.
2. Tap Cancel batch.
3. Pick a reason: A material problem, Not enough material, Equipment problem, It failed in the pot, or Changed my plans. Add a few words under What happened.
4. If you’ve weighed anything, choose It’s still usable — keep it all in stock or It’s mixed or ruined — take it off stock.
5. Tap Cancel the batch. Changed your mind? Tap Keep going.

Good to know

• Cancelling needs a connection.
• The batch stays in your records as cancelled, with the reason. Its lot code is never used again.
• Cancelled batches are hidden on Batches. Choose Cancelled in the status list, or tap Show them, to see them.
• A finished batch can’t be cancelled. Reject it from QC hold, or recall it once it’s released.
• If nothing was weighed, your stock doesn’t change.
