Plan production

Markets, wholesale orders and restocking become one list: what to make, the last day to start it so it’s ready in time, and what to pull from the shelf.

Find it Today → What to make (or More → Plan production)

Steps

  1. Give your products a Par level in Products, or a reorder point, and add your markets. Products need a recipe linked.
  2. Tap What to make on Today.
  3. Choose how far to look ahead: 4 weeks, 6 weeks or 8 weeks.
  4. Set Biggest batch you make in grams. Scents are split into batches up to this size.
  5. Work down the list. Each item shows when to start it (Late, Start today, This week, Next week or Later), the cure time, how many, and why.
  6. Tap Start batch or Start split batch. The batch opens with the recipe, scent and size filled in.
  7. Open What to pull for this week for the materials you’ll need, and anything short.

What the plan counts

  • Markets you’ve applied to or confirmed, and what you plan to bring.
  • What sells online, wholesale and on Faire, over the last 8 weeks.
  • Stock below its reorder point, or below half its par.
  • What’s already curing, and batches on the bench.
  • Each recipe’s cure time, so the start date leaves room for it.

Good to know

  • The list is in order of the last day you can start and still have it ready.
  • Scents of one recipe that need starting within three weeks of each other become one split batch.
  • Products with no recipe linked can’t be planned. They’re listed at the bottom.
  • Materials with no stock entered show as “stock not entered” rather than short.
